Made In: Tunisia aims to highlighting design and creative communities in different regions of the world. This 5-day pop-up is curated by Pauline Eveillard of Soukra and will feature fashion and design from Tunisia. On opening night there will be a conversation on creative diversity and visibility with Pauline Eveillard and designer Anissa Meddeb. (Tunisian drinks and bites will be served) The pop-up runs from the 10th - 14th.

An all woman art show and party celebrating the launch of Seismic Sisters Magazine. There will be a short performance by Rhodessa Jones at 7:30pm and sounds by B-side Brujas all night long.

THE WORLD OF RAY AND CHARLES EAMES OPENING
OAKLAND MUSEUM OF CA | 1000 OAK STREET | OAKLAND
This exhibit delves into the lives of the innovative husband and wife duo who were two of the most influential designers of the 20th century encompassing their Eames Office designs, films, and World Fair exhibits. This will be the only West Coast showing of this exhibit that has traveled the world. Go see it!

OAKLAND PRINT FAIR

Print lovers this is the place for you! Tons of local designers and printers will be set up both Saturday and Sunday from 11am-5pm. There will be a free screen printing workshop by @Harumosato on Saturday from 1-5pm. You must be present at the fair to sign up for one of the 8 sessions.

CLARE ROJAS: “SOMEHOW THERE WILL BE MUSIC” — JANE OPENING

One time I did a trade with Clare Rojas and her painting is one of my most prized possessions. In her new show, she will be presenting both paintings and sculptures covering a range of imagery, scale and format and I can’t wait to see it.

TREASURE ISLAND MUSIC FESTIVAL

Treasure Island tends to be the only music festival I go to yearly and bonus for me they have moved it over to Oakland. Tickets can be purchased for single or both days. Personally, I’m looking at going on Saturday for Moses Sumney, Laff Trax, and Santigold. A$AP Rocky and Tame Impala are the headliners this year.
