The Sensation of Color transformed Bedford Gallery into a vibrant lab full of prints, paintings, and installations that explore how color affects our emotional responses and informs our daily lives in subtle, often unconscious ways. It explores color psychology, which teaches us that hue can be a determinant of human behavior, alongside our individual perceptions of color. We have so many subconscious connotations to color which can impact our mood, trigger memories, and conjure images and sensations. This diving into myself and uncovering and exploring my responses to color and human connection is the guiding principle of The Sensation of Color. On view January 2023 - April 2023.
